I wish you could have been there! I wish you could have seen the smiles. I wish you could have heard the “oohs, awwws,” and “look at that!” I wish you could have made the 15 hour bus trip. Well, maybe I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I wish you could have seen the white knuckles gripping the lift bar and heard the hearts racing when our new kids went up the mountain for the very first time. I wish you could have been sitting in our devotions when we studied God’s Word. I wish you could have knelt around the bed and held hands with our leaders as they prayed for our kids. I wish you could have seen the sights of new snow, felt the rush of new joy, and seen the faces of a new beginning. I wish all of these things for those of you who helped to make the ski trip possible for our kids who went to Durango, Colorado over the past few days. You have blessed the lives of those who went and I want to say, “Thanks!” I don’t know of another group of folks like you who call BCC home. You are so willing to help others. You are always so excited to be a blessing to someone else.
We have tons of the coolest pictures you’ve ever seen in your life and we want to share those with all of you in the next few weeks, once we get them in print. We also have an aweome video that Steven Spielberg, I mean Ray Arechiga, has put together and we will share the video with everyone at the end of worship this Sunday. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for everything you’ve done! You are a blessing.
