“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
When I first came to work here in 2004, I had no idea of what was in store for me.
As office receptionist, I get to greet every person who comes through the front door or calls the office. Every day, I meet and talk to interesting people from all walks of life. I feel privileged to call many of you my friend, and look forward to getting to know even more of you in the future.
As church bookkeeper, I witness God’s hand in the area of stewardship, through the offerings of those who attend the church. It is exciting to see the ministries of BCC made possible through the faithfulness of so many.
As records keeper, I track the attendance and participation in programs of the church. In this area I see increasing numbers, which is evidence that the message of Christ’s love and sacrifice for us is reaching more and more people throughout our community. It is wonderful to see the opportunities for ministry available to people of all ages and interests.
In preparing the Sunday bulletin and compiling the monthly Beacon newsletter, I always hope to both inform and encourage the readers.
I give thanks daily that God’s plan for my life brought me to BCC. It is such a joy to serve the Lord here, and watch as He blesses this church. It is my prayer that my work will support and promote the ministries of the church in the furtherance of the message of Christ.
Please don’t hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions about my work.
