Christmas is on its way! In just over two weeks Christmas Day will be here. Presents will no longer be beautifully wrapped and neatly placed under the tree. There will be paper and bows littering living rooms all across the country as kids break out in a rash of smiles in having received their long awaited gift.
Sometimes the greatest Gift of Christmas gets lost in all of the paper and bows. It is so important that we, as followers of Jesus, never lose sight of the greatest gift of all–The Gift of our Savior. In order to help us remember, this Sunday, December 14, at 10 am our amazing choir will lead us in worship as we remember the gift of God’s Son. The Lighthouse Choir’s Christmas Concert has always been one of the most moving and inspirational experiences of the year. This year promises to be another wonderful celebration!
You will want to arrive early this Sunday because the sanctuary is always packed out for the choir’s concert. I want to encourage you to invite your friends to join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior with a wide variety of music.
I also want to encourage you to park in north parking lot, just south of Hope Community Church, so that we will leave parking spaces close to the church for those who need to park close and for our visitors. Have a great week and I’m looking forward to seeing you Sunday.
