Dear Friends,
It has been a great summer! We’ve celebrated over and over again as we have watched work among us in so many different ways. Summer Camp, VBS, and the 100th anniversary of our church are just a few of the wonderful experiences we’ve had this summer.

Now that summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to go back to school it is time for us to sit down and prayerfully consider how we are going to plug in to the ongoing ministries at BCC. There are so many opportunities that are available to us this Fall. We need lots of volunteers for the elementary Study Buddies ministry and the Middle School Learning Center ministry for our middle school kids. The King’s Klinic is in need of medical staff who can serve the health care needs of those in our community. The Britvil Food Pantry is in need of volunteers to help serve the needs of those in our community who are hungry. Our “Chesed Ministry” teams are in need of volunteers who can help visit those in the hospital and nursing homes, fix meals for those who are recuperating from hospital stays, and minister to the grieving. There are so many needs and there are so many opportunities before us as a church. No single person can begin to meet all of the needs that are present before us, but if each of us will make a commitment to do one thing then we will be amazed at what God can accomplish through our work together. I want to encourage you to prayerfully consider how you believe the Lord is calling you to get involved and then give me a call.

In His Steps,

Summer is Over–It’s Time to go to Work!
